Biography

Belal A. Al-Fuhaidi received the B. Sc. Degree in electrical engineering Spec. for Computer Engineering from the Military Technical College, Cairo, Egypt, in 2007, the M. Sc. Degree in electrical engineering Spec. for Computer Engineering from the Military Technical College, Cairo, Egypt, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering Spec. for Communication Engineering from the Military Technical College, Cairo, Egypt in 2013. Since 2013 he has been with the department of Computer Science Department, University of Science and Technology, Sana`a, Yemen. He had a head of computer science department from 2015-2021. Now he has been a dean of faculty of Computing and IT since 2021. He gets an associative professor degree in communication engineering at Jan, 2020. He serves as a reviewer of many web of science and scopuse journals such as IEEE Access, IET Communications, Springer, Electronics Letters, The Journal of Engineering IET Image Processing, Applied soft computing and IET Wireless Sensor Systems Journals, …etc. He serves as a general Chair of IEEE conferences such as ITSS-IoE2021 & MTICTI-2021. He serves as a program committee member of IEEE and Springer conferences such as eSmarTA2021, ACeS 2021, ArabWIC 2021, ICETIS2021, …etc. He serves on the Editorial Board of many international journals. His research interests, activities and having the ability to conduct independent research, leading research projects team, and supervising undergraduate/ postgraduate students in the areas related to computer science, Data Science, Networking, wireless communications, wireless networks, cloud computing, IoT, Cybersecurity, equalization for interference cancellation, spread-spectrum techniques, and digital communications over fading dispersive channels.
