Dr. Ashis received his PhD degree in Software and Information Science from Iwate Prefectural University, Japan in 2022. He obtained his Master of Computer Science from University Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Malaysia and B.Sc. (Engineering) in Computer Science and Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. He achieved Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) Scholarship for PhD study, and ICT Fellowship of Govt. of the People's Republic of Bangladesh for Master of Computer Science study. He was awarded with President's Medals Student Awards from Iwate Prefectural University, Japan for his research achievement. He has more than 14 years Research and Teaching experience in the domain of Computer and Information Science. His primary research interests include Machine learning, Data Science, Meta-heuristic search, Combinatorial optimization, and Bio-informatics. He is a member of IEEE, Bangladesh Open Source Network, and the Institute of Engineers Bangladesh. Currently, Dr. Ashis is serving as a Professor in Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University(HSTU), Bangladesh. Previously he held the position of Lecturer at Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, Leading University, Bangladesh. He presented his research work in Japan, UK, Singapore, Malaysia, India, and China.
