He is one of the leading scholars in the area of technology adoption, Big Data, e-Health and ICT4D. Rakibul had the opportunity to work on several research projects in Bangladesh, the USA, Australia, Japan, China and Saudi Arabia. Hoque is a member of the Association for Information Systems, UNESCO Open Educational Resources Community, Asia eHealth Information Network, Information Systems Audit and Control Association, IEEE and Internet Society.
